Fairventures hj\u00e6lper b\u00f8nder i troperne med at dyrke lokale tr\u00e6sorter og afgr\u00f8der i allerede ryddede og skovede regnskovsomr\u00e5der. Skovlandbruget giver indkomstkilder p\u00e5 b\u00e5de kort og mellemlangt sigt fra afgr\u00f8derne og tr\u00e6f\u00e6ldningen \u2013 uden at forstyrre regnskoven eller bidrage til yderligere spredning af monokulturer s\u00e5som palmeolieplantager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 Vi arbejder h\u00e5rdt for at n\u00e5 m\u00e5let om at reducere vores globale CO<sub>2<\/sub>-aftryk til nul, siger Dr. Michael Prochaska, STIHL Executive Board Member for Human Resources and Legal Affairs, og forts\u00e6tter:<br>\u2013 Ved at st\u00f8tte Fairventures&#8217; skovprojekter kan vi modvirke udslip, som for nuv\u00e6rende er uundg\u00e5elige, og dermed bidrage med positive \u00e6ndringer for vores klima.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>F\u00f8rste beplantningsfase i Uganda med 280.000 planter<br><\/strong>Inden for rammerne af det udvidede samarbejde har Fairventures udvalgt yderligere beplantningsomr\u00e5der i Uganda og p\u00e5 Borneo, hvor der vil blive plantet frem til 2024. Den f\u00f8rste beplantningss\u00e6son i Uganda blev for nylig afsluttet. I slutningen af oktober var der blevet plantet omkring 270.000 tr\u00e6er, som var fremavlet hos lokale tr\u00e6planteskoler, i et omr\u00e5de p\u00e5 over 139 hektar. Tr\u00e6erne er hurtigvoksende sorter, eksempelvis musizi, som er klar til at blive skovet efter cirka ti \u00e5r og derefter kan bruges i tr\u00e6byggesektoren. I alt st\u00f8ttes 291 b\u00f8nder takket v\u00e6re det nydyrkede omr\u00e5de i Uganda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For\u00e6dling af tr\u00e6erne til STIHL beplantningen p\u00e5 Borneo er for \u00f8jeblikket i gang. I perioden fra januar til juni 2023 skal cirka 60.000 tr\u00e6er plantes i et omr\u00e5de p\u00e5 75 hektar i samarbejde med omkring 100 b\u00f8nder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>De beplantede omr\u00e5der kommer til at lagre cirka 120.000 tons CO<sub>2<br><\/sub><\/strong>Skovlandbrugsprojektet kommer til at medf\u00f8re lagring af cirka 120.000 tons CO<sub>2<\/sub>. N\u00e5r de f\u00e6ldede tr\u00e6er derefter anvendes til plywood, bliver tr\u00e6er af h\u00f8jere v\u00e6rdi desuden sk\u00e5net. Tr\u00e6ets lave v\u00e6gt \u00e5bner desuden op for nye, v\u00e6rdifulde anvendelsesomr\u00e5der inden for letv\u00e6gtsteknik, f.eks. til fly eller k\u00f8ret\u00f8jer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fairventures udvikler ogs\u00e5 andre anvendelsesomr\u00e5der. Inden for byggesektoren kan moderne limtr\u00e6 af letv\u00e6gtstr\u00e6 erstatte milj\u00f8skadelige materialer som beton, st\u00e5l og cement og muligg\u00f8re langtidslagring af CO<sub>2<\/sub>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 Vores samarbejde med STIHL kommer b\u00e5de mennesker og milj\u00f8 til gode, siger Wolfgang Baum, projektleder og adm. direkt\u00f8r for Fairventures, og forts\u00e6tter:<br>\u2013 Det g\u00f8r det muligt at udvide vores beplantningsvirksomhed, og det betyder, at vi kan st\u00f8tte endnu flere b\u00f8nder i Uganda og Indonesien. Samtidig bliver endnu mere CO<sub>2&nbsp;<\/sub>absorberet fra luften og lagret i tr\u00e6erne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Udplantningen af tr\u00e6erne og deres udvikling overv\u00e5ges digitalt ved hj\u00e6lp af en app kaldet TREEO.
