DANVAs nye formand, Carsten Nystrup, tr\u00e6der i henhold til vedt\u00e6gterne derfor op fra sin position som n\u00e6stformand:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201dVandsektoren bev\u00e6ger sig i disse \u00e5r ind i selve kernen af forandringen af den nye verdensorden. Den p\u00e5virkes af effekten af milj\u00f8farlige stoffer og klimaforandringer, som skaber pres p\u00e5 vores vandressourcer. Jeg er stolt over at v\u00e6re med til at give vandet en stemme, s\u00e5 vi kan sikre rent drikkevand til danskerne og h\u00e5ndtere spildevandet p\u00e5 en m\u00e5de, s\u00e5 det ikke p\u00e5virker milj\u00f8et. Desuden skal vores samfund indrettes til de nye vejrf\u00e6nomener, som f\u00f8lger med klimaforandringerne,\u201d siger Carsten Nystrup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Det afg\u00f8rende virkemiddel for at n\u00e5 det m\u00e5l er vandsektorens \u00f8konomiske rammevilk\u00e5r, understreger han:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201dVi skal have en \u00f8konomisk regulering, der er fit for the future, og som giver vandselskaberne mulighed for at investere i de nye samfundsopgaver, der er kommet til, siden vandsektorloven blev til for efterh\u00e5nden en del \u00e5r siden. Vi \u00f8nsker at v\u00e6re f\u00f8rende i vandsektoren i dette arbejde, b\u00e5de fordi det er billigere for danskerne i l\u00e6ngden, og fordi der er et k\u00e6mpe eksportpotentiale i danske vandl\u00f8sninger, som verden t\u00f8rster efter,\u201d siger Carsten Nystrup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Carsten Nystrup skal i f\u00f8lge vedt\u00e6gterne v\u00e6re formand for DANVA frem til f\u00f8rstkommende generalforsamling, hvor medlemmerne s\u00e5 skal v\u00e6lge, hvem der skal st\u00e5 i spidsen for vandsektorens brancheorganisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Den tidligere formand, Lasse Frimand Jensen, blev i begyndelsen af juni valgt til ny borgmester i Aalborg Kommune. Da han samtidig udtr\u00e6der af bestyrelsen for Aalborg Forsyning, kan han ikke l\u00e6ngere forts\u00e6tte sit virke som formand i DANVA. Han vil dog bruge sine erfaringer fra vandsektoren som f\u00f8rstemand i Limfjordskommunen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201dRent drikkevand og vandmilj\u00f8 er en bunden opgave. Og s\u00e5 er det helt afg\u00f8rende at f\u00e5 omstillet vores kommuner og produktion, s\u00e5 man h\u00e5ndterer CO<sub>2<\/sub>-belastningen med mindst muligt klimaaftryk.
